Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) Sustainment and Modernization of Radar Sensors (SMORS) program is looking for you to join our team as Stock Clerk 2 based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

 

 

What You'll get to Do:

 

  • The ideal candidate will perform a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, issue, and ship equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse.
  • Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices; stores articles according to identifying factors; fills orders or issues supplies from stock; requisitions stock to fill incoming orders; conducts periodic inventories; and prepares stock use reports.

  • Determines methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space.

  • Packages, prepares shipping documents, and arranges transportation equipment, material, and supplies for shipment.

  • Up to 10% travel may be involved

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
  • Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing 35 pounds
  • Able to change physical locations based upon need (including physical ability to travel)
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Experience shipping and receiving equipment and materials
  • Working knowledge of EAR, ITAR and export control
  • Able to understand and execute on sequence of operations or action to be taken
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Excel
  • Active Secret security clearance 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

 

  • Experience with GOLD and SAP preferable.
  • Prior stockroom experience.
  • Able to collaborate in a team environment
