The Ballistic Missile Defense International Simulation (BMD I-Sim) team on the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Systems Engineer. The position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO, at Schriever AFB.
The position requires a systems engineer to support the development of modeling and simulation of missile defense systems. The candidate will lead a team of systems engineers, analysts and test engineers to plan, design, develop, test, document, train and integrate simulation products for the Ballistic Missile Defense International Simulation (BMD I-Sim) organization.
Primary responsibilities include developing requirements, creating algorithms, testing new capabilities, documenting new features, and analyzing simulation performance. Coordinate across operational, simulation and user community to design and deploy new features and enhancements to new and existing applications. Develop system and component requirements, create algorithms, test new capabilities, document new features, train new users, and analyze simulation performance. Additional responsibilities could include interfacing with BMD I-Sim customers via event support and training events, and presenting technical briefings to BMD I-Sim stakeholders.
This position can be also filled at a higher level as stated in the basic qualifications.
