Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to joinour team as a Cybersecurity Developer based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

 

What You'll get to Do:

 

TheCybersecurity Developer candidate will perform the following tasks:

 

  • The development and testing of patches to fix vulnerabilities inWindows and RHEL. Candidate will be expected to concentrate on setting andapplying GPOs and STIG configurations.

  • Installation and configuration of Linux and Windows from the OS upto the application level.

  • Documentation and verification of all installation andconfiguration steps for the labs and fielded systems.

  • Develop test plans/procedures for software integration and unittest.

  • Work with software developers and/or vendors as needed to helpdiagnose and identify the root cause of problems found during systemintegration.

  • Submit problem reports for errors found and coordinate dailyintegration activities with other team members.



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance

  • 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Yearswith PhD or equivalent experience in lieu of degree

  • DoDI 8570 certification (GSEC, Security , SCNP, SSCP) or higher requiredto start.

  • Experience scripting, installing, and testing patches on Windowsand Linux platforms is required.

  • Experience with Information Assurance policies and procedures toapply Cybersecurity configurations such as Group Policy Objects (GPOs) andSTIGs to an existing system is required.  

  • Excellent technical document preparation and verbal communicationskills are required.


    Preferred Qualifications

  • User experience with VMWare systems administration and configuringvirtual machines is a plus.

  • Experience with writing, debugging and maintaining Python scriptsis preferred.

  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technicalapproaches and findings.

  • Proven interaction in an Agile team environment.
