We are seeking a Test Engineering Intern to provide support to our Automotive Business Unit located at Maxim's Colorado Springs location. The Test Development Engineering Intern will collaborate with our experienced engineers on a variety of tasks aligned with the process to develop high quality and cost effective semiconductor production test solutions, focusing on the Automotive High-Speed Serializer/De-Serializer product line.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Software development targeted to our precision automated test equipment (ATE) to validate, characterize, and production-test semiconductor devices.
  • PCB design to interface semiconductor devices to ATE equipment
  • Semiconductor test plan development


Minimum Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Completed electronic circuit analysis and theory courses

Preferred Qualifications
  • Sound understanding of fundamental electronic devices and circuit theory
  • Experience working with electronic laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, digital multi-meter)
