    Accounts Receivable Field Representative, Operations

    This individual will be the expert in Accounts Receivables for their region and communicate with the operations team to help supported offices overcome any AR obstacles. The ideal candidate will have a love of knowledge and training of systems, have the ability to provide training and research in the region to grow our team’s knowledge of AR systems and efficiencies all while holding accountability of team members for following those systems.

    To give you an idea of team structure, the AR Field Rep will work individually, but will also partner with the Integrations Team to meet regional goals. This position reports to the Regional Support Administrator (RSA).

    Responsibilities

    Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:

    • Assist the Integrations Team with a wide variety of insurance and accounts receivable matters relating to training, day-to-day processes, and holding accountability.
    • Provide training of AR best practices to Practice Managers of Operations (PMO).
    • Develop strong relationships with the PMOs and Integration Specialists in the region that will allow partnerships to support both our new and existing Business Assistants and contribute to our retention goal.
    • Promote AR trainings through eLearning to grow our teams’ knowledge, which will assist them in delivering the highest quality customer care to their patients
    • Work to integrate and support Affiliated and Denovo (Heartland Dental created) practices that are newly supported in the region by ensuring they have the tools, training, and support needed to successfully integrate with Heartland Dental. Provide additional training on systems and timelines to set the offices up for early success.
    • Support all new AR technology and efficiencies as they are introduced by assisting with rollouts and training on all new processes.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Accounts Receivable and Dental Insurance Administration (DIA – Fee Schedules and Credentialing) teams at the Effingham Support Office to ensure cohesive support and a consistent message.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Practical knowledge of Dental or Medical Insurance and/or Accounts Receivable
    • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
    • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to answer telephone calls and communicate information to callers
    • Ability to interact with co-workers in a collegial manner to accomplish common tasks
    • Self-starter and able to complete tasks without supervision
    • High level of maturity, personal initiative, and sound judgment
    • Ability to travel multiple times per month on short notice with potential overnight stays
    • Analytical problem solver
    • Strategic thinker who is comfortable making decisions

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Experience with insurance billing and/or collecting past due balances preferably in a healthcare setting
    • Experience with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Softdent, or Practice Works
