Coburn Investigative Agency, Inc., an attorney-owned, full service, investigative bureau, has been in business for more than 20 years assisting large companies combat fraud. In today's competitive environment, companies are proactively fighting fraud and seeking ways to maintain costs. The financial repercussions of fraudulent insurance claims, poor hiring decisions, etc. can be devastating to companies of any size. Many of these companies are recognizing the tremendous benefits of obtaining valuable information through private investigation, including pre-employment screening, background checks and more.

At Coburn Investigative Agency, we are always looking for qualified candidates in the investigative field.

Qualifications/Duties: Our state-of-the-art, in-house training program is recognized as having set the standards for investigative training. We provide both field and classroom training in all aspects of private investigation. Others have attempted to replicate our training techniques, but none are as detailed and as thorough as ours.

At a minimum, potential candidates for investigation will possess a college degree or equivalent experience in the criminal justice or a related field (i.e., Military or Law Enforcement).

Compensation: Compensation for investigators starts at $30,000 and varies based on experience, qualifications, education and performance. Paid holidays, paid training, vacation package and 401K is included.

Due to the sensitive nature of the industry, careers in private investigations can be quite demanding. Work hours can be long and irregular, which can involve evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Travel is required, as well as use of your own computer or laptop. Because investigations can be surveillance intensive, use of your own car is required.

Educational Requirements: Degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent work experience in the military or law enforcement fields.

Physical Requirements:
