Welcome to the School of Education!
To earn a master's degree at Concordia University means to "master" the knowledge base of a particular subject so well that you are able to understand thoroughly and discuss articulately the complex issues posed by the experts in your field. It means to "master" the skills necessary to select and use appropriate information to answer the important questions posed by leaders in your profession. And it means to learn how to bring what "the Master Teacher" teaches to the ethical and spiritual dilemmas which confront educated people in the 21st Century.

Program Curriculum

The 30-unit curriculum consists of nine 3-unit courses and one 3-unit capstone project. Students must take 4 core courses (including the thesis) and 6 elective courses.

Remember, to be eligible for this program you must already have a current or expired teaching credential* or have completed a state approved teaching program and must have one year of full time teaching experience.
