Jobing Description
NextCare Urgent Care is looking for a Limited Scope Technician (X-Ray) to support our clinics in Greeley, Longmont and Broomfield. This is a full time position, working between the three locations. We also have a full time position available in Greeley. We are also looking for an LST to support our clinics in Arvada, Aurora and Highlands Ranch. This is a PRN (on-call) position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Performs radiology duties within the scope of practice as stated in NextCare Policies and Procedures, as well as the state appropriate Radiation Rules and Regulations.
• Performs the essential functions, including back office clinical duties, as defined by the appropriate Skills Competency Checklists.
• Compliance with established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
• Observes and communicates changes in the patient’s condition to the provider on duty.
• Assists provider with exams, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care under direct supervision.
• Participates in the completion of the Daily Checklist, as well as any assigned duties and tasks necessary to maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations.
• Participates in education programs and attends meetings as required.
• Follows and complies with standing orders.
• Dispenses prescriptions and medications per policy.
• Follows guidelines and requirements of laboratory and clinical accreditation policies.
• Support Mission Statement, Vision, Values and Performance Standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or described in Company policy.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School diploma or equivalent and Graduate from an accredited radiology school and/or equivalent experience or comparable armed forces training
• Current State where required or National Radiology License
• Current healthcare professional level CPR certification issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety Health Institute or National Safety Council

VALUED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Prior recent experience in an emergency department, urgent care or other clinical setting.

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee comes in contact with patient in a wide variety of circumstances. The employee may be exposed to unpleasant situations including accidents, injuries, illnesses, patient elements and varying or unpredictable situations.
