JOB BRIEF

Manages and markets the guided tour experience at the Global Ministry Center of Compassion International to develop stronger constituent retention and build on acquisition efforts. Directs the training, messaging, and coordinating of volunteer/intern support for the tours program and leads through example. Re-invents the guest experience by acting as lead designer on improvements, in collaboration with internal managers and external vendors. Builds on and participates in creation of the mobile experience to make GMC experience similar in effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion's ministry in prayer. Acts as an advocate for children
- raising the awareness of the needs, neglect, nurture, and potential of children in poverty and challenging and enabling those within one's influence to greater involvement and effectiveness on behalf of children. Develops and trains tour leaders to be effective communicators of the ministry of Compassion. Develops and markets GMC based opportunities for local church and school engagement. Develops external volunteer docent program to further engage local advocates. Recruits and maintains daily tour schedule. Develops, implements and communicates practices focused on improving participant sponsorship rates. Drives all experience toward set goals and acts as another channel for sponsorships in the US. Leads and develops cross-functional relationships to ensure messaging, content and marketing is current and impacting. Oversees 15-30 volunteer tour leaders through matrix management.

1. Superior communication skills with proven experience with message development and implementation in different mediums (i.e. PowerPoint, speeches, video, proposals, etc.).

5. Demonstrated creative competencies, including accountability for results, organizational sophistication, ingenuity and communicating ideas

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
2. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in project management and marketing.
3. 3+ years of creative experience in a marketing environment. Experience in experiential marketing or environmental branding preferred.
