Pikes Peak Behavioral Health Group (PPBHG) is a leading behavioral health care provider that has created help and hope for Southern Colorado residents for over 130 years. PPBHG currently is made up of 5 companies and a Foundation to provide a broad range of services to meet adult and family needs, substance abuse, acute treatment, and managed care. Additionally, we provide vocational skills training and affirmative employment in: catering, design/build/construction services as well as facilities management services.

Works with individuals and their families in a 24-hour, Acute Stabilization Unit and actively participates with a multi-disciplinary team to effectively meet the clinical needs of the clients; responds to crisis calls and completes comprehensive assessments of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbances, substance abuse issues, or the inability to function or maintain in the community, both in-house and mobile. Completes screening and assessments for voluntary and emergency holds. Navigates the treatment needs of the client and makes referrals to internal and external resources as appropriate and aligning care outcomes; assigns persons in need of treatment to the appropriate outpatient program and completes and coordinates inpatient admissions; performs professional interpretation and analysis of clinical data and assessments to formulate a service plan, a comprehensive summary of care, treatment and diagnosis and involves family and/or other caretakers in all aspects of client care, when appropriate.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS-EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS:
' Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related behavioral health field (M.A., M.S., MSW, MFT)
' Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist) in good standing in the state of Colorado.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS-EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
' Must have sufficient language skills and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing to accurately and professionally implement and document the services provided to clients.
' Must possess basic computer skills and type 25+ w.p.m. for the input and output of client information, using electronic record.
' Experience working therapeutically with specified population.
' Experience using various treatment modalities appropriate for specified population, utilizing strengths-based therapeutic approaches.
' Experience working in a team environment.
