JOB BRIEF

Manages the Account Service and Production teams of Compassion's in-house agency. Actively develops and maintains internal senior relationships with current and future clients. Coaches the Account Services team to serve effectively as the first line of contact with Agency clients and the Campaign Activity Management team. Maintains high level of customer service and satisfaction on projects managed by the agency. Also assists the Agency Director in managing budgets, process and other business activities of the agency.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion's ministry in prayer.
Acts as an advocate for children
- raising the awareness of the needs, neglect, nurture, and potential of children in poverty and challenging and enabling those within one's influence to greater involvement and effectiveness on behalf of children.
Supervises and trains the account service team in all functional areas including successful client relationships, development of strategic documents that assist the agency in meeting the client's needs and managing multiple projects to successful completion.
Supervises and trains the internal print production and traffic personnel for the agency.
Oversees the development of agency processes, procedures and reports to ensure the agency's ability to meet timelines, budgets and customer satisfaction requirements.
Coaches and inspires client service and production personnel by identifying, explaining and modeling effective client service methods and appropriate professional behaviors.
Consults with clients on the Compassion brand image and messaging standards and guidelines. Resolves branding issues promptly and amicably.Is the 'second-in-command' for the Agency taking a lead role on the Agency Management Team. Reviews creative for all major campaigns, initiatives and projects.
Personally manages high-visiblity projects and accounts (e.g., requests from senior leaders or of great importance to the on-going work of Compassion International) for Compassion's internal agency. Projects may involve a variety of media including print, direct mail, banners, displays, video, radio, web/interactive and e-mail.
Works closely with internal clients and client service personnel, translating marketing and communication plans, goals, campaigns and projects into creative strategies.
Actively promotes the Agency and its competencies to internal clients. Represents the Agency as needed on corporate, USA group and divisional projects.
Assists the Agency Director in managing the departmental budget, refining process and overseeeing the business activities of the agency.

Skills / Requirements
FUNCTIONAL JOB COMPETENCIES

  1. Superior strategic communications skills supported by a portfolio of work demonstrating effective results for clients, including non-profit organizations. History of working with high-level corporate decision makers.

  2. Demonstrated ability to lead a client service team.

  3. Knowledge of print production and ability to oversee, guide and develop the Print Production Manager.

  4. Competency and significant experience in developing creative strategies for marketing and communications campaigns.

  5. Superior ability to build the trust, confidence and respect of clients and co-workers while working in a professional environment. Excellent customer service skills required.

  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  2. Master's degree in advertising, public relations, marketing, organizational or mass communications is preferred.

  3. Experience: 10+ years experience in Agency and/or corporate settings preferred. Significant experience in client service, brand advertising, direct response, radio, television and video production, or public relations.

  4. Certifications/Licensing: N/A

  5. Other Required Skills: Competency in Microsoft Office products and project-planning software.
