The Dir Trauma Program is responsible for the organization of svcs & systems necessary for a multidisciplinary approach to providing care to injured pts. He/she assumes day to day responsibility for process & performance improvement activities as they relate to nursing & ancillary personnel , & assists the Trauma Medical Director in carrying out the same functions for the positions. The Dir directs the educational, clinical, research, administrative & outreach resources to deliver optimal quality care to trauma pts at SMC.
