Profile: Mom Job Seeker

Mom Job Seeker was founded to help women with the daunting task of re-entering the workplace after being full-time moms.  For many of these women, the prospect of finding meaningful work is a considerable undertaking.

Mom Job Seeker conducts half-day Career Camps in order to provide tools and resources such as assessing personal interests, strengths and transferable skills, narrowing job choices, understanding today’s technologically-based workplace, writing focused cover letters and putting together a dynamic resume that attracts interviews.

At the conclusion of Career Camp, moms are then eligible to enroll in our Career Club, a monthly, facilitated educational session with the objective of creating accountability and emotional support for these women during their intense and focused job search.

We also offer Career Classes covering topics, trends and skills needed to successfully transition.  These classes are offered via webinar or teleclass.

April Stensgard, President of Mom Job Seeker, provides one-on-one personalized Career Coaching. As a Career Transition Specialist and a mom who has re-entered the workplace twice, April is in tune with the challenges women face when re-entering the workplace.
