NextCare Urgent Care was founded in 1993 by John Shufeldt, an emergency medicine physician who realized the need for an alternative to overcrowded emergency departments.  Since 1993, NextCare has grown to twenty-five sites in three states by partnering with local healthcare industry leaders, de novo growth opportunities, and urgent care practice acquisitions.

NextCare continues to set the standard in the urgent care industry by constantly evaluating their service performance, improving the patient experience, and providing excellent customer service and medical care everyday of the year.
